Torres del Paine

Parque Nacional Torres del Paine

I flew from Santiago to Punta Arenas, then drove north to Cerro Castillo, close to the the entrance to Parque Nacional Torres del Paine.

I stayed in a lodge in Cerro Castillo for five nights, giving me four full days in the park. I would advise anyone to do similar, as the weather is unpredictable but tends toward cloudy and wet with high winds. Areas will be closed for the day due to sustained winds above 80 km/h.
