The Imperial City of Marrakech

I traveled on the overnight sleeper train from Tangier to Marrakech.

I stayed at a guesthouse in the medina, a short walk from Sāḥat Jāmi' al-Fanā' or the "Mosque at the End of the World". It's a large square that is home to a market and festival that runs every day and up into the evening. It has snake charmers, sooth-sayers, story-tellers, trained apes, dubious healers, and an array of food stalls.

The Saadian tombs and the Ben Youssef religious complex are top sights in Marrakech. Explore the imperial city of Marrakech:
