Zagora
I traveled by bus through the Atlas Mountains from
Marrakech to Zagora.
The last part of the trip was along a large wadi
lined with date palm oases.
I explored the caravan town of Zagora,
famously the start of a 52-day trek across the Sahara
to the ancient trading city of Timbuktu.
I trekked up Jebel Zagora,
one in a chain of volcanic peaks just outside town.
